WICKED * PEGGY HARTANTO: BRINGING THE MAGIC OF OZ TO LIFE

In November 2025, PEGGY HARTANTO released a limited-edition capsule collection created in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences to celebrate the release of Wicked: For Good, the highly-anticipated sequel to the globally acclaimed film sensation.

Drawing inspiration from the enchanting world of Oz, the collection reinterprets the duality at the heart of Wicked through our quintessential design elements. Glinda’s effervescence in airy volumes, shimmering pastels, flower and butterfly accents, and soft curved edges. In contrast, Elphaba’s resolve is brought to life through bold shades, striking accents, and leaf elements. Several pieces feature "easter eggs" for avid fans in the form of Wicked-inspired patches, prints, and ornaments. Comprising 27 original designs, the capsule transformed the beloved narrative of Wicked into collectible pieces, with each piece named after references from Gregory Maguire’s Wicked fantasy novel.

A NIGHT OF EMERALD DREAMS

On November 15, PEGGY HARTANTO celebrated the Indonesian premiere of Wicked: For Good at Plaza Senayan XXI, Jakarta, alongside friends, family, and partners in anticipation of the brand’s upcoming capsule collection created in collaboration with the film. Wicked: For Good follows the next chapter in the story of Glinda and Elphaba as their friendship is tested by their opposing paths after the events of the first film.  

During the opening remarks before the screening, our Co-Founder and Managing Director, Lydia Hartanto, shared the story behind the collaboration alongside our co-founders, Peggy and Petty Hartanto. “Wicked had always held a special place in our hearts, and when we learned that the second film would be released at the end of 2025, we immediately knew we wanted to create something together.”

At the premiere, guests were introduced to the collection through an exclusive teaser showcased on the cinema screen.

A WICKED ENCHANTMENT

The PEGGY HARTANTO * Wicked capsule collection officially launched on 25 November 2025 and was made exclusively available in Indonesia through peggyhartanto.com as well as at the PEGGY HARTANTO Plaza Senayan store. To mark the occasion, our co-founders welcomed beloved clients, close friends, collaborators, and members of the community for an intimate celebration of the collection’s debut. Guests were invited to immerse themselves in the world of Oz—discovering the pieces up close, trying on their favourite looks, shopping the collection, and sharing the experience together in-store.

Timed alongside the approaching festive season, the launch was further complemented by a special holiday installation created in collaboration with Franciskus Raymond Halim. Drawing inspiration from the grandeur and luminous spirit of Emerald City, the installation reimagined the traditional Christmas tree through a sculptural display illuminated with glistening lights, transforming the space into a festive interpretation of Oz, blending the magic of the holiday season with the imaginative universe behind the collection.
